I have volunteered at the Jewish Home for the Aged in San Francisco (http://jhsf.org/) and at the Reutlinger Community for Jewish Living in Danville (http://www.rcjl.org/). I currently sit on the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Jewish Healing Center (http://jewishhealingcenter.org/), which specializes in providing Jewish healing and spiritual care to those in grief or in the process of dying, and DayBreak Adult Day Centers (http://daybreakcenters.org/), a non-profit network of 13 adult care centers located across Alameda County.
I have seen the effects of Alzheimer's disease first hand. It leaves people without the ability to care for themselves and can ultimately lead to their death. Without proper care and supervision they can pose a danger to themselves and others. It is so hard to watch your loved ones disappear before your very eyes. It is something no one should ever experience and with the research supported by the Alzheimer's Association it could be eliminated in our lifetime.
I find it important to give back to the elderly in our community any way I can. For many years I have felt strongly about issues affecting the elderly, Alzheimer's being one of my focuses. Please join me in the fight against Alzheimer's disease and donate today.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
