I am walking in honor of my Dad, and to do what I can to help end this terrible disease. My Dad has been my best friend my entire life. We spent a lifetime sailing, scuba diving (he taught me at the age of 15), and playing music together. He has always been my hero. The most difficult part is that we can not reminisce about all the things we did together all our lives, because he has no memory of any of it. I am extremely lucky to have had all those fantastic years with him. Any small donation that anyone can make would help in getting closer to a cure.
I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
