In January of 2018, my dad, my hero, was diagnosed with MCI progression Alzheimer's. Each story of each individual diagnosed with Alzheimer's is as unique as their lifetime of memories made. Sadly, this disease robs those individuals of those memories like a thief in the night. My father's life, his moments, and memories are shared by countless, blessed hearts that care for him deeply. From his match made in Heaven (my Mom, Ann), to his children, grandchildren, to his service buddies in Vietnam, to the Brave Blue Line of the LAPD, there are millions of memories and stories to share, but not enough resources yet for a declaration of victory and the memory of having someone be the first survivor of Alzheimer's.This is why I'm asking for one great memory made together. The memory of how you will help support, in any way, amount or means you can; as a way to say, I'll never forget the time we did___________. What's your__________? What's your favorite memory?
