On June 10, 2017 I lost my brilliant husband to this dreaded disease. He was a dynamic head of a family for his children, grand daughters, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews who miss him, his stories and support terribly to this day. Even before Ray died, and since his death I have known a number of friends who have died from various forms of dementia. Alzheimer's Disease also takes a great toll on the care givers and family of the person who has the disease. As we all know, only vast amounts of money for research and assistance for loving survivors will find hope and a cure for the ravages of this disease. The Tucson Alzheimer’s Walk is a lovely stroll around the Reid Park zoo. It’s an easy exercise and a way to join others who are also battling this disease. As in the past, I ask you to donate “Chai” which is the number 18 in Hebrew and also means LIFE. Eighteen dollars or multiples of chai are more than welcome. Also, please join us on November 9, 2019 to walk away this terrible disease. With love, Marsha
