In 2007 my momma was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. I decided to make it my mission to help End Alzheimer's. In November the Alzheimer's Association has a walk in Tucson. Each year I form a team of family and friends to do the walk with me. We raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. This will be our 10th year walking.
It's even more important to me to help End Alzheimer's because it took my momma from me on 7/9/15. It's a horrible disease. No one should have to go through that. It's not only horrible to the person who has the disease, but it's also horrible to the family. To watch someone you love deteriorate before your eyes is painful. I wouldn't wish it on ANYONE.
