Thank you for visiting my page yet again this year. Life has changed a bit since last year and finding the time to fund raise has been harder than ever. None the less, I need to do my part to stop the disease from moving forward! As life continues to evolve I find myself moving farther away from Lucy's legacy and that scares me. Although it has now been almost 3 years since she passed it feels like I lost her a lifetime ago. What sticks with me each day is that fact that my children will never know her and never fully understand what an amazing woman and mother she was. I wont let my children or grandchildren of the future experience this. I use that as my motivation this year and into the future. Anything that you can help me with is appreciated. There comes a time each year where this needs to be the focus, now is that time.
You all know my story, and sadly over the years I have heard from a lot of you with your own stories of ALZ... this disease is growing rapidly and is ruthless. Please help me do my part!
We will be hosting our 6th annual "Bash For Brains" this year. It will once again take place at my sister's house in Woodbury and we have a alot of exciting prizes and trips to give away! The Date is Septemeber 8th in Woodbury. Please let me know if you have anything to donate or would like to help out.
I'm walking to help reclaim the future for millions. By participating in the 2018 Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(tm), I'm committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
I need your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
