Nita's Squirrel Shooters will walk as a team, joining forces with others to help find a way to change the course of this disease. My Mom fought as hard as she could to hold onto who she was but ultimately Alzheimer's won. She spoke eloquently, wrote beautifully, sang in choir, ran a food pantry and helped anyone that needed a hand. Generous, caring and kind also full of laughter and joy. She was a true angel who earned her wings on earth. Her story will appear in the August issue of "Cornerstone." I will share a link soon.
Together, we can make a difference and end Alzheimer's disease. If you can, please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Our team walks for my Mom, Nita .....we are taking a step in the "fight"direction!
