When entering from Abbe Road onto College Drive turn left onto College Drive North, and continue on College Drive North around the fitness center to lot #6. The Alzheimer’s Association registration tent will be located outside of the Field House in front of lot #6 marked with a sign and a purple tent.
We will have a one-mile and three-mile route this year! The route graphic can be viewed HERE. The route will be marked appropriately and volunteers will be placed along the route to help guide you in the appropriate direction. Water stations will be located throughout the route and outside of the Field House.
If you personally raised $100 or more before 8/12/2023 you will be receiving your Walk to End Alzheimer’s t-shirt prior to Walk Day. Remember to wear your shirt on September 9th! If you were unable to raise $100 before the 8/12 deadline and still want to receive the t-shirt, it’s not too late. Raise $100 before December 31st to receive your shirt for 2023.
NEW THIS YEAR Pet Policy
Bring your furry friends along with you to Walk this year! Pets can walk with you along the one- or three-mile route. However, you will not be able to bring them inside the Field House.
Things to Know For Walk Day
Are you caring or have ever cared for someone with Alzheimer’s or dementia?
Wyatt-Demarco Massage Therapy & Wellness Center will be providing massages to caregivers this year at the Caregiver Corner inside the Field House.
Are you bringing your children along with you?
We will have an area for children to meet and take pictures with Stomper (Lake Erie Crusher’s mascot). Balloons, tattoos, bracelet bead making, coloring books, and mini bubble wands will be available as well. This year’s Kids Zone will be inside the Field House.
Would you like to meet the sponsors of our event?
After you check in there will be “Sponsor Row” where all of our Walk Sponsor vendors will be set up providing giveaways and information about their companies. Pick up the vendor passport at the registration table and have the vendors sign your passport. Once the passport has been completed, return to the registration table to receive a commemorative bracelet.
Are you a Champion fundraiser?
If you have personally raised $500 or more, you are eligible for the Champions Club. The champions will have an elevated breakfast and refreshments available to them. Your Champions Club yard sign will be here for pickup as well.
Where are restrooms located?
Restrooms will be located in the Field House.
