What To Expect
Every July, cyclists from across the nation take a three-day, scenic ride from the South Carolina foothills to the coast, all to raise funds and awareness for the research, care and support efforts of the Alzheimer's Association®. Virtual Challenge participants pedal their miles throughout July wherever and whenever they choose.
For 2025, we have two Group Ride options: The Classic (257 miles) and The Half Classic (136 miles), a shorter version of each day's route. From the time you arrive, we take care of all of the details. All meals are provided, along with luggage and bus transportation and discounted rates on nightly lodging. Rest Stops staffed by our amazing volunteers offer hydration and snacks every 10-15 miles. SAG, mechanical, and medical support is always available. And, when you’ve crossed the Ravenel Bridge in Charleston and finished your remarkable three-day journey, we celebrate in a big way at the finish line and at a dinner in the Charleston area.
We invite you to take part in this first-class, nationally recognized event. You'll see why Ride to End ALZ South Carolina has been the best cycling event of the summer since 2009!
