Once again unto the breach, dear friends!

This is part of my annual rhythm now, the epic ride and the chance to see and hear firsthand accounts of those struggling against this disease and the "ordinary heroics" they are turning out day after day as they fight back.

I find this disease personally terrifying, as it captures the very spark of the divine in the human soul in an increasingly small organic cage.  Anything we can do to limit the progression of the condition we should do.
