Why I Ride: I am riding for my husband Geno. He was diagnosed with young-onset/early stage Alzheimer's at 62 years old. He died at 69.
Right now I'm standing in the forest, on a trail Geno and I walked and ran on for over 30 years. It's drizzling and I'm in the middle of a wilderness garden of Forget-Me-Nots. I can never forget this wonderful man I lost to Alzheimer's.
I miss him dearly ever day.
I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer's.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer's. Thank you for donating and cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
