Over 25 years ago Kristin lost her Grandma & Grandad Snyder to Alzheimer's. To this day treatment, preventatives, knowledge and medicine are STILL NOT where they should be! This July, Kristin and her husband Ben, will be participating in the Ride to End ALZ South Carolina, a unique 255-mile, cross-state journey for cycling enthusiasts who are passionate about ending Alzheimer's disease. Our mission is to raise the funds needed for the research, care and support efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.

This ride has been on their goal list to do for YEARS. As her Granddad Snyder might have said, Kristin has been "bunged up." It's time for her to give it a shot! It's time to ride for them and ride for a better future for all the people and families battling this horrible disease that steals lives. 

We all know someone who has been affected by this terrible disease. I ride because I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care. I want to help speed up scientific progress toward better treatments and prevention.

Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer's research — only dollars. That's why I am asking for your support. 

By participating in Ride to End ALZ South Carolina, I'm fueling support services and cutting-edge research to change the trajectory of Alzheimer's disease. Each dollar I raise helps advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer's and provide help for those facing dementia today.
