This July, I'll be participating in my second Ride to End ALZ, a 255-mile, cross-state cycling journey for cyclists who are passionate about ending Alzheimer's disease. Our mission is to raise the funds needed for the research, care and support efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Every one of us that participates has a loved one that has or suffered from this cruel disease. If you have a loved one or care for someone that has dementia or Alzheimer's, you know how heartbreaking it can be dealing with the sufferer's symptoms. I will once again be riding in memory of my late maternal grandmother, Joan Waters of Leesville, SC.
I ask that, if you choose to donate towards my participation, that you also let me know if you have someone in your life that you'd like me to ride for. I will write their names on my jersey bib as well as put their name(s) up on our "Why I Ride" wall.
By participating in Ride to End ALZ South Carolina, I'm fueling support services and cutting-edge research to change the trajectory of Alzheimer's disease. Each dollar I raise helps advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer's and provide help for those facing dementia today.
Will you join me? Thank you for donating and cheering me on!
Cheer Me On!
