Hello Friends and Family,
How has Alzheimer's (ALZ) impacted your life?? We all know someone who has suffered from this dreadful disease. Please help END ALZ by supporting my bicycle ride called - Ride to END ALZ!!!
Every 65 seconds, someone in America develops Alzheimer's. By mid-century, someone in America will develop the disease every 33 seconds. It is estimated that nearly 500,000 new cases of Alzheimer's disease will be diagnosed this year.
I'm committed to raising awareness to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association by participating in A Ride to End ALZ. I'm taking on the physical challenge and personal adventure of cycling 255 miles in 3 days. Won't you please join me in this fight?
Thank you in advance, if you'd like to join the movement by making a donation. ALL, 100%, of funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to prevent, and ultimately, to cure Alzheimer's disease.
It would be my privilege to ride in honor, or in memory of, YOUR loved one who has suffered from Alzheimer's or dementia. Please send me their name! For starters, I will be riding in memory of my mom (Maxine Davis), my aunt (Sue Russell), Molly Bailey (Phil's mom) Tootsie Hall (Cecil's sister), Tom Swenson (Mary's husband - diagnosed with early on-set ALZ), Patricia Davis (Sheryl's mom), Mrs. Pollard, Virginia Settles and Leroy Settles (Ty's mom and brother), Dina (Clara Schommer's mom). Please allow me to add your loved one to my list!!
Let's fight to END ALZ together!
Thank you!
Leslie
Cheer Me On!
