To my family and friends:
This summer I’m participating in the Alzheimer's Association A Ride to Remember, where I will cycle 250 miles across South Carolina over three days. The purpose for this challenge is to raise awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research for the many forms of Alzheimer's Disease.
As a nurse, I've spent time caring for patients suffering from Alzheimer's. It truly is a debilitating disease for the patient and family members, too. Did you know 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease? Some of these people don't have family and are left to and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050.
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to provide care support for all affected and advance research toward better treatments, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s! Your support means the world to me on this memorable journey!
Cheer Me On!
