Friends and family, this July, I'll be participating in Ride to End ALZ South Carolina, a three-day, 255 mile cross-state cycling journey. I'm determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and those who will someday battle this disease. The mission is to raise funds needed for continued research, care and support efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
I ride because I am inspired by the many friends and family who have made sacrifices over the years in the name of serving others. Currently, there are more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care. Money raised will help advance research and I might add that to date excellent progress has been achieved in the fight to end Alzheimer's.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars!!! Please consider making a donation today however meager. And know that with every dollar raised, we get closer to new treatments and ultimately finding that first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on and for any prayers you might offer on behalf of this mission.
Sincerely,
Kevin Stanton
Cheer Me On!
