I am participating in A Ride to Remember for the fifth time this summer, cycling across South Carolina, about 250 miles in 3 days to raise money for the national Alzheimer's Association .
Your donation will benefit the National Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease. There are new treatments available that show great promise in slowing and maybe preventing the progression of this terrible disease.
Everyone involved in this Fund Raiser has been affected by Alzheimer's disease. It was an incredible experience last year, meeting and sharing with others who have experienced this special journey. Walking with Kim's Father and his worsening dementia has impressed upon me how much we do not know about this disease and the importance of researching for a cure and supporting this organization that walks with families going through this difficult journey. I am riding for Kim's father, Gene Dalton, Kim's Grandmother, Marguerite Walton, long time family friend, Herbert Van Orden, as well as other friends who have experienced Alzheimer's disease in their families.
Thank you for your support,
Phil and Kimberly Greig
