Why I Ride: I began cycling in 2016 to honor the memory of my mother and support the Alzheimer's Association mission. I continued to cycle to honor also my mother-in-law and raise awareness and funds to obliterate Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. I cycle today to encourage others to join the fight. Alzheimer's touches (or will touch) all of us and it will take all of us to end it. Take back the power by becoming a visionary of hope and help #endALZ!
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars, which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating in the Ride to End ALZ Nation’s Capital, a fully-supported, one day fundraising event, where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for cheering me on.
