My mother who has never given up on any challenges in her life, however she was succumb to Alzheimer and loss the fight. This disease stole everything from my mother, her memory of a husband, the children, and grandchildren.
I hope my little contribution in this ride will help end this disease, to save others from the anguish that this disease had brought to our family. I am also riding to honor my father and my siblings whose dedications to my mother during this terrible ordeal is the true meaning of love.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a fully-supported, premier cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
