Why I Ride: I'm going the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer's. My Dad passed away 3 years ago this week in April, my siblings & family lost a father, brother, Grandfather & Uncle way too soon. This cause hits 'real hard' because it has affected me personally (& may affect me personally- scary thought- but it literally runs in my family) My extended family & I have had our Nana affected, lost our Uncle Charlie & currently my/ our Aunt Diane.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer's research - only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating in the Ride to End ALZ®, a cycling event that supports the Alzheimer's Association's efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer's disease.
I hope to raise (2,500) dollars to help advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer's. Thank you for giving, sharing my donation page with others( if you know someone who has also been affected by this disease) & for cheering me on! Thank you from all of my heart!!!
