Why I Ride: I wanted to join the Ride to End Alzheimer's in honor of my dad, who is one of the millions of people affected by Alzheimer’s. I am hopeful that in time, a cure will be found to help others in the future. I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care. I am also inspired by all of the progress we're already seeing in science.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a fully-supported, premier cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
By joining this ride, I hope to help raise funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Every dollar helps. If you're struggling to make ends meet, please don't feel pressure to donate. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I appreciate any thoughts, prayers, or well wishes.
Cheer Me On!
