Christmas 1996 - new robes, and broad smiles! I truly miss my Mom every day. We all deserve the chance to live in a world with more smiles and togetherness and without Alzheimer's - please help us do that! Thank you.
Why I Ride: I am riding, first and foremost, to end the disease that stole my Mother from us! Please help ... ride with us, donate, or volunteer to feed us and cheer us along the route! Thank you for every good wish, every prayer, every donation - they all inspire me and lift my heart!!
If you didn't know her, I wish you'd been able to. My Mom was the strongest woman I've ever met (to this day!). She always had a hug ready and could feed a crowd without batting an eye. She could dress to the nines, replace a tire, build a house, support her kids in PTA, sew shirts & skirts for youth choir and square dance groups, bake cookies by the 100s, survive breast cancer, tell a joke ... pretty much anything! Everyone who knew her dearly misses her.
Please help us raise funds to prevent and cure Alzheimer's, and other dementias. No other family should have to go through the loss we did, and no one else should have to suffer the way Mom did, losing memories and faculties and ability to live the way she wanted. Thank you for every single dollar you can give - they all add up!
Cheer Me On!
