Why I Ride: I am riding in honor and memory of my dear friend Tink. She was a second mom to me while I was in college. She gave me rides to class on bad weather days, and brought me meals and took care of my dog while I was busy studying. I am riding in honorand memory of Jane. She was one of my first clients. She was supportive and kind. She followed me when I moved to three different offices during my first four years of practice. I am riding in honor and memory of my Father-In-law Arnie. I so enjoyed meaningful conversations with him, as well as his quick wit and sense of humor. He was also a wonderful cook and I am fortunate that he passed this trait on to my husband.

I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s. I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care. I am also inspired by science.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ, a fully-supported, one day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
