John "Pops" Laufenberg loved to ride his bike. It was freedom, a way to explore the world, the pathway to good health, time with friends, and his joy. That was then, now he doesn't remember his bike, his rides, his friends, his family. But he can smile, laugh, hug and blow kisses - but maybe it doesn't have to be this way.
What if we could do something to NOT get Alzheimer's?
I will ride my bike 75 miles in June* to fund studies on prevention and a cure. This is my invitation to you to ride with me on TEAM GOLDEN or support me and make a donation to the cause. We all are or will be affected by Alzheimer's in some way, someday.
*Ride to End ALZ in Colorado, a one-day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts.
