Why I Ride: I ride for my mom. My mom is a social butterfly who is always laughing and giving out hugs. To love my mom is to meet her. She is cherished by her family, friends, and people she meets at the grocery store (or anywhere for that matter). My mom, a talented clothes designer/maker, glass fusion artist, Bananagrammer, and Mexican Train domino player, was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. I ride so that future “Marys” in this world can continue to brighten people’s days as my mom does for me.
I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a fully-supported, premier cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
