Welcome to my page! Thanks so much taking the time to learn more about me and why I ride. My reason why I ride is for my Grandpa Donnelly. He was first diagnosed with Alzheimer's back in 2013. Watching my grandpa lose his memory was one of the most challenging times in my life. He was a treasure to me; plus, that man really knew how to correctly wear the color Kelly Green! His fight against Alzheimer's came to an end in 2015, but we still feel his love and grace everyday. He had this sparkle in his eye that made everything he did an authentic act of kindness, no matter if you knew him if or not. He will always be my reason why :)
I'm blessed to have the opportunity to be Team Purple's Team Captain again in this year's Ride To End Alz - Nation's Capital. So for my Grandpa Donnelly and many, many others who Alzheimer's has effected, I'm pledging to raise $5,000. Everything that is raised, 100% of proceeds will go directly toward Alzheimer's research.
