Why I Ride:
First my aunt Nina, then my mom faded away into the terrifying darkness of not knowing, not remembering. Their life ended years before their physical body gave out. It's an ugly experience that no one should have to endure - either as a patient or as the patient's loved one. 100% of your donation goes toward research to try and end this curse.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating in the Ride to End ALZ, a bicycle fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
