Why I Ride:I'm doing this for my brother Curt. Watching what this disease does to him is hard to watch. The feeling of helplessness that I have that I'm unable to help him get better is frustrating. So hopefully by me riding my bike and raising funds to help find a cure for this terrible disease so other families won't have to go through what our family is going through. I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s. I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care. I am also inspired by science.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a fully-supported, premier cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
