It’s been 22 months since my sister Suzanne passed away with Alzheimer’s. She was always outgoing, loved adventure, and cherished her family and grandchildren. I miss her every day. Alzheimer’s is a disease that steals our loved ones long before they pass away. The heartache comes when they can no longer share the special memories or the simple comfort of being with family. Many of my friends have shared with me the stories of loved ones being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, the years of declining health, and the fading memories.
Once again, I have accepted the challenge to raise money for Alzheimer’s Association and will join others in the DC Ride to End Alzheimer’s, on May 4. More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, please consider sponsoring me to help advance the research that will put an end to Alzheimer’s. It is because of your generous contributions that Alzheimer’s Association has made such great strides with critical research over the past year. 100% of your donations will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Associations research efforts.
Again this year I am leading a team of riders in the event. My team is called “The Forget Me Not’s”. If you would like to join in the challenge, I am looking for people who are willing to ride-(any mileage), and join the efforts to advance the research. Please let me know if you want to join the team.
Thank you in advance for your support.
