As many of you know, after 46 years, I retired from practicing architecture and moved on to a new chapter in my life. But one thing that hasn’t changed is my passion for cycling and fundraising for The Ride to End Alzheimer’s. After losing my cousin Howard “Pete” Wilson to Alzheimer’s, I want to continue to help raising money in his memory as well as honor the people that care for those afflicted with this horrible disease. This will be my 5th year participating and a milestone for me. I will be 70 years old on this ride and want to make it special. With your help, it will happen.
There is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research, but there is a shortage of dollars. This is why I am asking for your support. For the 4th year in a row, I am participating in the Ride to End ALZ, a fully-supported, one day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
