Why I Ride: When Eveyln, my mother-in-law, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's I soon became acutely aware of the toll this terrible disease takes on both the inflicted individual and their loved ones. It also made me aware that more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's today and more people die from this disease each year than from breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.

That inspired me to join the Ride2EndALZ mission to conquer this disease by annually raising funds in support of Alzheimer's research while cycling around New Jersey clad in purple, ALZ-branded cycling apparel to spread awareness.
