Why I Ride:
I am participating in the Bike Ride to End ALZ® on Sunday, October 13. This is a cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease. I plan to ride the 65 mile course with two college friends who's families have also been affected by this brutal disease.
We lost my mom, Mary to Alzheimer's on September 8th of 2022. She was one of the lucky one's as she did not have to suffer too long but it was long enough for our family to have a new found compassion for other families that are battling this dreaded disease. The old saying, "You don't know until you know!" is a fact.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
