Why I Ride: I am committed to making a difference for everyone affected by Alzheimer’s. While I have not seen first hand the devastation Alzheimer's can impart upon both individuals and family members, I have been with other families that have suffered through Alzheimer's and other such neurological maladies. Witnessing their journeys has deeply moved me, and I am inspired by the more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s, as well as the over 11 million family members and friends who care for them every day. I am hopeful that science can help bring a solution for those in need.
There is so much promising Alzheimer’s research, but funding is crucial to turn these ideas into reality. That’s why I’m participating in the Ride to End ALZ®, a supportive and meaningful cycling event dedicated to helping the Alzheimer’s Association in their mission to find better treatments and ultimately prevent Alzheimer’s disease.
Every mile I ride is a step closer to advancing research and finding the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Your support, in any form, would mean so much. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.
Cheer Me On!
