My dad passed away from Alzheimer's on July 11th of this year, and I am back at it again, cycling the hills of Wimberley Texas for my 4th year to raise money for Alzheimer's research. Alzheimer's has plagued my family taking my grandmother, my dad, my aunt, and now coming for my uncle as he is fighting his fight as we speak.
Every year we raise money to help find a cure to this nasty disease, and to honor those we have lost or currently battling this.
Please consider donating to this cause, and I will once again ride through the giant hills of the hill country to earn your support. I'm having major knee issues this year, so unsure of the distance, but I will ride at least 60 miles to honor those we have lost and those who are battling!!
If you can spare a few dollars, it will truly mean the world to me and my family. And will help us all get the cure before it gets us!
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer's research - only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a fully-supported, premier cycling event that supports the Alzheimer's Association's efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer's disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer's. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
