2024 Ride to End ALZ - Colorado

Bill's Memory Lane Cyclers

Support Our Journey to End Alzheimer's

Dan and Suzanne are excited to announce that we have registered for the Ride to End ALZ®! On June 9, we will ride 65 miles through the beautiful landscape of Larimer County, Colorado. We invite you to join us on this journey and use our miles to achieve your own ambitions in the fight against this devastating disease. Alzheimer’s touches many lives, and chances are, you know someone affected by it. Together, we can be the conduit for change and bring hope to those impacted by Alzheimer's.

Why We Ride:

Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of dementia, accounting for the majority of cases that affect millions of families. We have seen the impact of dementia firsthand, with Suzanne's Papa Melka and Grandma Schultz both ending their lives living with dementia. Now, Suzanne's father, Bill, lives with dementia, and we see the pain it causes not only to Bill but to all who love him. By participating in this ride, we are challenging ourselves physically and contributing to a cause that is deeply personal and close to our hearts and for YOUR quest.

Our Goal:

Our team has set an ambitious goal to raise $5,000. This is a significant amount, and we believe that if everyone thinks about a person they know who had or has dementia and multiplies that by $25, we can achieve it!!

Why Your Support Matters:

Alzheimer's disease is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. There is currently no cure, but with your help, we can fund research that may lead to breakthroughs in treatment and prevention. Charity Navigator gives the Alzheimer's Association a 96% score, and Charity Watch gives it a B+ rating, ensuring your donations are used effectively.

Join us on our journey to end Alzheimer's. Together, we can make a difference. Thank you for letting us ride for you!

With love, Dan and Suzanne
