Why I Ride: For Mom-mom. For Jackie. For Scott. For Blanche. And for all those touched by this insidious disease.
It was my honor to participate in the inaugural Ride to End ALZ Nation's Capital in 2022 with two great friends who have also been closely impacted by Alzheimer's. I returned again in 2023 with a few more friends and we were collectively able to raise over $8000 for Alzheimer's research. It's a privilege to once again be able to ride to support a cause that has impacted so many of us.
I am determined to go the distance again this year for all those affected by Alzheimer’s. I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ, a fully-supported, one day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on. Your support is truly appreciated.
Cheer Me On!
