Why I Ride :
I ride for my mom, Carolyn Moore, a brilliant woman whose future was cut far too short by an early onset diagnosis in her early 50’s. For her mom and brothers who also received an Alzheimer’s diagnosis, some of whom are still suffering. And for the family members of those who suffer.
I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s. I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provided them with care. I am also inspired by the science.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research – only dollars. Which is why I’m asking for your support. I am participation on the Ride to End ALZ, a fully-supported, one day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for this disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. That survivor is out there…let’s help to make it possible!! Thanks for cheering me on!
Cheer Me On!
