Why I Ride:
I am riding for the Papa's Weasels Team in loving memory of Charlie Boyne, my oldest and dearest friend's dad and a second dad to me, who passed away recently after a courageous battle with Lewy Body dementia. He loved his family with all his heart, affectionately calling his grandkids, the weasels, and I am honored to be riding along side them to raise money for this cause.
I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s and am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this horrific disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a fully-supported, premier cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on and for your donation. Together we can make a difference.
Cheer Me On!
