Why I Ride: Several years ago a friend of the family, Pete Dekreon, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at the age of 50. Sadly, his life has been been turned upside down, but his diagnosis has inspired me to help others by raising money for research. I’m proud to be riding with Pete’s son Brinton, and others, to raise money for this great cause.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a fully-supported, premier cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride (I’m signed up for the 100 mile route) I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
