Why I Ride: I ride for my mom, the person who taught me to ride a bike. She also taught me to work hard, help others, and smile through tough times. There were certainly tough times as she battled this disease and our family had to see her go through the struggles of Alzheimer's.
I ride for my dad and my sister who were on the front line of her daily struggles.
I ride for my kids who lost their grandmother too soon and missed out on the years of love and encouragement.
I ride for everyone who's lost a loved one to this disease and who had to see their slow decline over years.
I ride for Mom. I miss her.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
