The Ride to End Alzheimer's is a remarkable experience: Hundreds of cyclists gather together to highlight the challenges and tragedies of the more than 6 million Americans that live with the disease, and to honor the more than 11 million Americans who are the caregivers of those with Alzheimer's or other dementias. The unity and drive of these riders and their dedication to finding a cure are galvanizing.
This year I am honored to ride in memory of a dear friend's late father, Norby Mintz, a remarkable man who lived with Alzheimer's for many years.
I plan to ride the "metric century" (the 62-mile route). I am asking for your generous support. The Alzheimer's Ride is a one-day fundraising event, and its effects ripple for months and years afterward. The funds we raise enhance the resources available to advance progress in treating and preventing Alzheimer's disease: 90% goes to research, while 10% goes to support programs for families with Alzheimer's and other dementias.
I and my teammates are deeply thankful for your support.
Cheer Me On!
