Why I Ride: As many of you know, I lost my Mom almost 3 years ago, and prior to her passing, she suffered terribly for many years from dementia. She didn't have ALZ, but the struggles, challenges, decline, and heartbreak for everyone who knew and loved her were all the same.
I'm motivated to support research to create effective treatments and - eventually - a cure for or way to prevent this terrible disease. Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I'm planning to bike 30 miles on the Ride to End ALZ®, a cycling event on June 1, that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you for your generosity, for supporting this important cause, and for cheering me on!!
Cheer Me On!
