Hi All - thanks for visiting my page. In 2023 my family lost my father, Mike Powers (Pops) after a battle with cancer. In 2019 he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and we made our best effort to make time spent with him memorable and ensure he would have proper care as the dementia progressed. Join me and my sister, Cait in honoring his memory by supporting this cause.
There are so many impacted by Alzheimer’s. I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care. I am also inspired by science.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a fully-supported, premier cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
