Why I Ride: On June 1st I will participate as part of Linda’s Legion Team along in the Ride to End ALZ in Portsmouth, NH. Our team consists of family members and friends committed to ride and raise funds for Alzheimer’s research. I am riding to honor my wife Linda who has been living with Alzheimer’s for more than 10 years. I am training to complete the 62 miles course along with my team and many other committed riders in this annual.
I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s. I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care. I am also inspired by science.
If you make a donation in honor of memory of someone who has lived with Alzheimer’s, I will carry their names with me on my ride as a means of paying tribute to your loved ones.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a fully-supported, premier cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
