In July, 2023 I will ride for the 15th time our Ride to End Alz across the state. But this year I have a very special drawing for those who support my ride! This is a Sam Maloof style rocking chair that I assisted in building with Harold Dodson, a fantastic chair maker. He told me that if I come over in January, that we would make another one for my raffle. I’ll post the picture of the chair when we build it. I know that all of you give to support this worthy cause, but this does make it fun!
If you will make a donation of $25 or more, here are the number of tickets you will receive
$25 gets one ticket (one per $25)
$100 or more gets 5 tickets (5 per $100) up to $500
$500 or more gets 30 tickets (6 per $100) up to $1000
$1000 gets 70 tickets. (7 per $100) (And a really good chance at winning)
I am hoping that this effort will raise at least $20,000 and I will once again turn those pedals from Simpsonville to Charleston in July.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Now is the time to come together to change the course of this disease!
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
