Hi there,
I hope this finds everyone happy and healthy.
I am again participating in the Ride to Remember, a 252 mile bike ride to raise money for Alzheimer's reasarch. I am doing this ride because of the profound effect that this disease has taken on my family and ultimately, me. I watched my mom suffer, and ultimately die from complications of Alzheimer's. It is a very tough emotional journey for the people around those with Alzheimer's. When my mom was first diagnosed, I was given two pieces of advice...laugh at her, because the stuff she would say is funny, and I think more importantly, to be with her where she was at. In the last couple of years, I have lost more people to the ravages of this disease, including my father in law.
Several family members are suffering the ravages of Alzheimer's at the present time
So, please donate and help stop and/or mitigate the effects of this disease.
For those that have already donated, thank you! and for those thinking about it, go ahead and do it now!
Thank You
Aimee

By participating in A Ride to Remember, I'm taking on the enormous physical challenge and personal adventure of cycling across South Carolina. I've also committed to raising awareness and funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's disease and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Now is the time to come together to change the course of this disease!
Please support my efforts by making a donation. All funds raised benefit the Alzheimer's Association and its work to enhance care and support programs and advance research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer’s disease! Your support means the world to me on this memorable journey!i
Cheer Me On!
