Why I Ride:
I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s. Both sets of my Grandparents were affected by Alzheimer's in the latter years of their lives.
In the last couple of years I also did 23andMe: DNA Genetic Testing for Health, Ancestry, and More. I found out that I have a variant detected for possible late-onset Alzheimer's disease. So, this is very personal to me.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ®, a fully-supported, premier cycling event that supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
On August 26th, with each mile my teammates and I ride, we are raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s.
Every dollar counts so thank you for helping us reach our goal.
Cheer Me On!
