Why I Ride: I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s. I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care. This disease has affected several members of my family, and I want to honor then and those who care for them with my efforts. My sister-in-law and my father are fortunate to have people and places who support them beautifully, but not everyone can be so lucky. Better yet if no one needed this type of help.
I am also inspired by science. Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ. If you can join me in this event, please do. If you can donate funds to support Alzheimer's research and care, let's do that. If you can talk about, think about, and advocate for this cause, if love to have you do that, too. Every contribution counts.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
