Why
Last year I raised over $3700 for Alzheimer’s research in honor of my Mother in law who passed away from the disease Dec. 31st, 2016. 100% of the money goes to research for a cure for this dreadful disease. If you have known anyone who has now, or in the past, developed this illness, you know how heartbreaking it is. Every year we are making breakthroughs in research to at least help prolong the disease. We need a cure. I couldn’t make the ride last year as I suffered a pretty severe injury to my elbow while bike riding. But I did get back on the bike, and road 50 miles this past June.
I’ll be riding again in August. Please if you can, donate to this cause that has affected almost every family. I appreciate any donations, no matter the size. No injuries this year!!! Thank You!
I am determined to go the distance for all those affected by Alzheimer’s. I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care. I am also inspired by science.
Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research — only dollars. Which is why I am asking for your support. I am participating on the Ride to End ALZ, a fully-supported, one day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
With each mile I ride, I am raising funds to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s. Thank you for cheering me on.
Cheer Me On!
