For the second year, I am participating in the Ride to End ALZ, a fully-supported, one day fundraising event where every dollar raised supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to discover methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer’s disease.
In 2021, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, one of more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and the over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care.
Although there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer’s research, there is no currently no cure and no prevention, and too few effective treatments. Your support will help the Alzheimer's Association, the world's largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research, advance scientific research to battle this disease.
I also participated in this event in 2022, a HUGE thanks to everyone who supported me last year. Here's a short video of my 2022 ride.
My stretch goal in 2023 is to raise $5,000 which provides the opportunity for participation in additional Ride2EndALZ events across the country.
Thank you for cheering me on and making a real difference in the fight to end Alzheimer's disease.
P.S. Did you know you may be able to double your donation? Check here to see if your employee has a matching program and please reference my site in your match request.
